
Ringwood district
Is an outer metropolitan electorate approximately 20 kilometres east of Melbourne.
The Ringwood district comprises the suburbs of Mitcham, Nunawading, Ringwood, Ringwood East and Heathmont, plus parts of Blackburn, Blackburn North, Donvale, Forest Hill and Vermont.
The district is situated on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation and is home to a diverse community of more than 60,000 residents.
Known for its leafy parks, waterways and excellent transport connections, the district features landmarks including Blackburn Lake, Ringwood Lake and Mullum Mullum Creek. Ringwood Station serves as a major public transport hub alongside several other train stations across the electorate, while the Eastern Freeway and EastLink provide convenient road access throughout Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
