With deep local roots and almost a decade of experience serving our community, I know the people, places and issues that make this electorate special, and I’m ready to be your strong, Independent voice.

The Ringwood electorate has shaped my life. I grew up in Heathmont, attended Heathmont East Primary School and Tintern, worked in local businesses, then returned to raise my family in Nunawading and Mitcham.
Today, I continue to proudly serve our community as an elected Whitehorse City Councillor. Having lived, worked and served across both the Maroondah and Whitehorse communities that make up our electorate, I understand the people, places and issues that matter most because I've lived them alongside you.
For almost a decade, I've had the privilege of serving our community on Whitehorse City Council as an elected Councillor, including twice as Deputy Mayor.
As Councillor, I have represented the majority of the Whitehorse section of the Ringwood electorate, and have worked collaboratively with residents, community organisations, businesses and all levels of government to deliver practical outcomes.
I've also represented Whitehorse on the Eastern Region Group of Councils and currently chair Council's Community Safety Committee, Health and Wellbeing Committee and Arts and Culture Committee, bringing people together to strengthen our community and improve the quality of life for local residents.

My career has always been about helping people. I've worked as a teacher across kindergarten, primary, secondary, TAFE, university and adult education, in government, Catholic and independent schools.
As a careers counsellor, vocational psychologist and small business owner, I've helped people discover their strengths, build confidence and create new opportunities. I've also volunteered in the Emergency Department at Box Hill Hospital, giving me firsthand insight into the pressures facing our public health system.
Combined with my experience in local government, these roles have given me a practical understanding of the issues that matter most to our community: easing cost-of-living pressures, strengthening our hospitals and healthcare, supporting excellence in education, planning responsibly for growth while protecting the character of our neighbourhoods, and building safer, greener and more connected communities.

As a Councillor, I've worked alongside residents to deliver practical outcomes – from upgrading community sporting facilities and improving local parks, to protecting open space, preserving our tree canopy and ensuring local voices are heard in planning decisions.
My approach has always been simple: listen carefully, work collaboratively and deliver real results.
I'm running because I believe the Ringwood electorate deserves an experienced, independent representative who will restore trust through integrity, accountability and genuine community representation.
As an Independent, I won't answer to a political party. I'll listen to our community, I'll advocate for what matters most, I'll deliver practical outcomes, and I'll always put the people of the Ringwood electorate first.
